Corto e Fieno is the Rural Film Festival that takes place during the month of September in the Cuore Verde tra Due Laghi (Green Heart between Two Lakes) region, on the hills that separate Lake Maggiore from Lake Orta.
Corto e Fieno was founded in 2010 by Asilo Bianco to examine rural cinema and its enduring place in contemporary society.
The four sections of the Festival include: Frutteto (Orchard), Germogli, Mietitura (Harvest), and Sempreverde (Evergreen).
